If Afgans really think this, well the Pakistani communication policy is totally to rebuild ... It's an absurd conception. It's true that Talibans came from Pakistan and that they "hosted" Al Qaeda in Afghanistan, but the "invasion" by "37 countries" of the country is a consequence of the attack against NY. If Pakistan did something to stop that counter attack ... well ... it would have been a mad decision.

That's a "lined up" and biased way to see the recent history of Afghanistan.

Sure if Talibans weren't there ... Al Qaeda would have been somewhere else ... and so ... but the "what if" history is not in history books.

useless to go back and debate over... the invadors have different theories....and invaded ones have different... in the end afganistan is occupied for long long period of time.... will it turn out to be like japan and germany ? :)

If you start to count the year of occupation from the Soviet invasion .... it's more that a generation that Afgans live under someone else! And actually also Talibs came from abroad, so ...

I think Luca meant 'from outside afghanistan' when he said 'from abroad'...Which is true, we all know where they came from!! Pakistanis seem to think that if one muslim people rule/control another, it doesn't count as occupation. Actually religion is hardly relevant..
